Welcome to Escape Kent! We are committed to ensuring that everyone, including those with disabilities, can enjoy our escape rooms. Below is an overview of our accessibility features and limitations:

General Accessibility
– Location: We have two venues, one in Canterbury and one in Faversham. Both locations offer nearby public car parks.
– Entrance: Both venues have step-free access to the entrance, but some escape rooms may have additional steps or narrow passages.
– Assistance: Staff are trained to assist guests with various needs. Please inform us in advance of any specific requirements.

Specific Accessibility Features
– Wheelchair Access: Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of our buildings, full wheelchair access is not available in all rooms. We recommend contacting us to discuss your needs so we can advise on the most suitable rooms.
– Hearing Impairments: Written instructions are available, and our game hosts can provide briefings in written form upon request.
– Visual Impairments: We do not currently offer Braille instructions. However, our game hosts can provide additional verbal guidance.
– Toilets: Accessible toilets are available at upon request.

Q1. Are we actually locked in the escape room?

Your safety is our priority! You’re not physically locked in; you can exit anytime for emergencies.

Q2. Will we be grouped with other players?

Our escape rooms are private experiences. Your team will have the room to yourselves for maximum enjoyment.

Q3. How long is the escape room experience?

The adventure typically lasts one hour, but we recommend setting aside 90 minutes for the full experience, including briefing and debriefing.

Q4. Can we use mobile phones or cameras inside the rooms?

To preserve the mystery for all players, we ask that you refrain from using phones or cameras in the rooms.

Q5. What’s the maximum number of players per team?

Our rooms vary in size. Please check the specific room details for the maximum team size.

Q6. Is there a minimum age requirement to participate?

While there’s no strict age limit, our puzzles are generally suited for ages 12 and up. Younger players are welcome with adult supervision.

Q7. Is the escape room accessible for individuals with disabilities?

Due to the historic nature of our building, we are currently unable to accommodate wheelchairs. We’re committed to providing the best experience possible, so please contact us for any other accessibility inquiries.

Q8. How do I find your escape room location?

For detailed directions to our escape room, please visit the ‘Location’ section on our website. We’ve provided easy-to-follow instructions to ensure you find us without any hassle.

Q9. Is there parking available at your location?

We do not have on-site parking. For our Canterbury location, we recommend using the Maynard Road car park. In Faversham, the car park on Leslie Smith Drive is your best option. Both are conveniently close to our escape rooms.

Q10. What is your summer offer?

Our summer offer runs from July 24th 2024 to August 30th 2024, and is valid Monday to Friday. Purchasing a family ticket will enable you to admit 2 adults and up to 3 under 14s for just £95. To take advantage of this offer, simply select “family ticket” on the booking page.
